As we close out another calendar year, I make a point of reflecting on what has changed over the last year (and the last 5 years!), and also what has stayed the same.
We have grown our readership and our following considerably, far surpassing the goals we had set for 2025. We have added new pieces of content that will become annual pillars of what we offer the community. We took a break from hosting events to allow us to really focus our efforts on building the most comprehensive digital publication for parents in our area and make sure we are doing it well. We strengthened our connections with the local business community and continue to use our platform to promote shopping small and shopping local.
What hasn’t changed is our mission to provide a valuable resource to our local community, where moms can go to find real, relatable experiences, things to do in the area, and so much more.
Since its inception, Central Mass Mom has published over 1,000 articles, including 257 this year alone! Our social media reached over 3 million accounts this year!
Our digital presence has helped us to build even stronger partnerships with local businesses, through our local business directory (which showcases over 60 exceptional businesses within Central Mass), our annual guide co-sponsors, and our long-term advertising partners.
Central Mass Mom would not be what it is without the incredible women who make up our contributor team (past and present), and I am the luckiest person on the planet that I get to learn from their experiences, and call them not just team members, but friends.
To our readers, thank you for being here, for seeing the value in what we offer. We hope you feel seen, heard, and understood, and that our content makes motherhood feel just a little easier.
To our advertising partners, thank you for trusting us to connect you with our amazing audience. We are so honored to be part of your business journey.
Personally, I continue to learn and grow as a business owner, as a content creator, as a friend, and community member. I feel blessed beyond measure for the friendships and connections that running Central Mass Mom has put in my path.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
