Every summer, one of the Central Mass Mom contributors hosts a pool party in her backyard for our whole team and their families. It has become a bit of a Central Mass Mom tradition.
The first year we held it, we surprised the team with an inflatable rental obstacle course from Busy Bee Jumpers and the kids went absolutely nuts over it. The next year, we simply could not do the pool party without bringing the obstacle course back. Last year, we decided to switch it up and get a more traditional bouncy house. I made all the moms get in it with me and we all laughed harder than we had in years.
This year, we might do a bouncy house again, or we might try a totally new inflatable, but whatever we decide on, it will for sure be coming from Busy Bee Jumpers. For 3 years running, the experience we have had working with them has been top notch.
Booking
The booking process truly could not be easier. You can choose your inflatable, choose your date and time, and check out. That’s it. If you need chairs and tables, a tent, string lights, you can order that right in the same order. I just saw you can also rent a cotton candy machine, popcorn machine and a Sno Cone machine, so one of those may have to be the surprise addition to this years party…
Communication
Once your date is booked, you get a confirmation email with all of the relevant details so you know everything is all set. Then, closer to the actual event, they send text message updates to let you know the specifics of their delivery, including a two hour window so you know when to expect the delivery. Last year, they also messaged when they were finishing up their previous delivery so I knew exactly when they were on their way.
Product
The inflatables are always in great shape and have clearly been cleaned prior to delivery. They let us know ahead of time what was needed, like access to a power outlet (if you don’t have power near the set up spot, you can rent a generator as well), and the dimensions of open yard needed for the inflatable.
Delivery/Pick Up
Once they arrived, they got the truck unloaded, made sure the set up spot was flat and allowed enough room around the entrance and exit, and anchored it into the ground so it wasn’t going anywhere. The delivery team was friendly and made sure we didn’t have any questions before they headed out to their next delivery.
They came the following morning to pick up the inflatable. They worked efficiently to get everything removed and left the yard just as they had found it.
