Alison lives with her husband, son (2017), daughter (2021) and their German Shepherd. She works part-time as a Registered Nurse doing direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical Unit, she has also worked in a nurse educator role and a leadership role during her career. Alison has been a nurse since 2011 and is planning to start graduate school in 2024. She feels lucky to have such a flexible work schedule that allows her to spend so much quality time with her children and homeschool her son. Alison is happiest when she is by the ocean and spending time with her family. Autumn and her husband James got married in 2013. Autumn is a mom of two, Owen and Molly. Autumn loves to travel and is always planning her next trip. She has two cats named Opie and Tig. Autumn loves to bake and try new recipes in the kitchen. She enjoys craft and home improvement projects and is known for taking on too much (like painting her kitchen cabinets at 7months pregnant). Autumn and her family now live in Shrewsbury.Contributing WriterCyndi was born and raised in Central Mass. She has moved around numerous times, but always ends up back in the same two towns she grew up in. Before kids, Cyndi was an avid runner and hiker, a personal trainer, an instructor of group fitness, aerial arts, pole fitness, and yoga, as well as a fitness/ nutrition class. Once having her son Luka (2016), she worked a “regular” job before leaving to welcome her daughter Bodhi (2019) and become a stay-at-home Mom. Cyndi has since gone back to school to be a Nurse Midwife, and has returned to running, adding ultramarathoner to her repertoire. She enjoys more strenuous hikes with friends, but often brings her kids on shorter hikes as well, either alone or with friends. The entire family enjoys going tent-camping in the mountains multiple times a year- her kids have been camping every year of their lives! Cyndi also enjoys foraging and whipping up new meals with what she finds. She, first, was a dog mom who loved to travel with her fur babies before she met her husband. Then, she settled down in a nice farm town and added two children to her pack. She enjoys traveling with her family and has a wild hobby of collecting limited edition cloth diapers. She is a former pediatric sleep consultant, who still loves all things sleep, works as a paramedic, and has a crafting side hustle making custom clothes and bags.Contributing WriterFlannery is a Worcester native who left after high school, traveled the world, and eventually settled down in Marlborough with her French husband, Emile. She has 1 son, Felix (2022), and 1 daughter coming in June 2023. She works in HR at TJX, and is building a side hustle as a leadership coach. Her little Valentine, Lucy, was born on February 14, 2022. She is currently working full-time as a Senior Administrative Assistant for a staffing agency in Waltham, MA. In her spare time, Jessie enjoys baking, reading, and making handmade soap, although she has not had the opportunity to make soap since moving to Massachusetts. Her favorite things about living in central Massachusetts are the orchards open year-round and the beautiful landscapes. Jillian is a mom to her human son, Jacob who was born in 2020 (yup that’s right a pandemic baby) and her fur baby Dino, which her and her husband adopted in 2018. After graduation, she lived in NYC for nearly a decade and CT for two years, before moving to Shrewsbury in 2021. She has a 3.5 year old daughter and a 16 month old son. Kate is a full-time working mom, leading the corporate leadership development programs at Echoing Green, a global leadership accelerator. Outside of her day job, she is a trained leadership coach and facilitator who loves to work with moms. She runs a local moms group in Shrewsbury, focused on connecting moms through deeply engaging conversations. Laurelle lives in Marlborough with her husband Jon, daughter Amelia and pups Taylor and Bella. When she isn’t chasing her toddler around she can usually be found snuggled up in fuzzy socks with a good book, or enjoying her favorite ice cream.Contributing WriterMaggie has called Ayer home for over a decade after originally coming to Massachusetts from Syracuse, NY for college. She lives there with her husband, their two kids and two dogs. You can find her out hiking (okay, nature walking) on local trails, kayaking on one of the many local ponds and lakes, or visiting a coffee shop or brewery. Maggie enjoys being a stay-at-home mom and loves finding ways to be engaged in the local community, from coaching soccer to volunteering in the school library. She also likes supporting her husband's business, Still River Financial Planning, on the social media front. A big part of Maggie's story is being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 24. She graduated from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising. Nicole currently lives in Grafton, MA with her husband, son, their two cats and dog. Nicole spent 20 years in the retail industry as both a merchandise buyer and manager of merchandise planning in Boston and Metro West. As the next chapter of her career, Nicole started her own real estate business as a Realtor at Lamacchia Realty. Nicole loves connecting with people and giving back to her community by serving on the Grafton Economic Development Commission. She loves nature hikes with her family and their dog Rocky, an 85lbs Weimaraner. When she isn't cheering on her son at a soccer, lacrosse or basketball game, you can usually find her at home gardening or planning out her next home project.Director of ContentRobin grew up and currently resides in Uxbridge with her husband and their four children and three cats. She has 8-year-old twins, a 4-year-old, and a 1-year-old. In 2020, they decided that homeschooling was the right choice for their family and they haven't stopped yet. She dreams of having a homestead and lots of acres in the future, but for now, they garden and hopefully get some more animals for their small 1-acre lot. She loves camping with her family (her youngest was only 4 weeks old on her first trip). Her husband always says she is happiest when she is by the ocean and when her nose is in a good book. You will find her behind the camera lens capturing photos, teaching women how to use makeup, and coaching her children's sports teams.
