non-alcoholic holiday cocktail recipes Each holiday season comes with a few guarantees. Loads of cookies. All the shopping. Tons of gift wrapping. And festive drinks at parties. For many, an alcoholic drink or two is just a regular part of any gathering, but for others, they may be looking for a tasty drink that evokes the feelings of the holidays without the alcohol.

You (or your party guests) may be in recovery. Or currently pregnant. You might be trying out the ever-growing sober curious movement. Or you may just not be in the mood for an alcoholic drink, plain and simple! These recipes still bring on all the festive feels, without all of those next morning feels. Let’s face it, hangovers are just not worth it when you have to mom the next day.

Here are my top 4 favorite non-alcoholic holiday cocktail recipes:

Winter Sangria

In a large pitcher, combine non-alcoholic white wine or white grape juice with a splash of ruby red cranberry juice. Finish with cranberry orange sparkling water. Garnish glasses with a fresh orange slice and a few sugared cranberries. For extra extra wow factor, freeze sprigs of rosemary into ice cubes to be added to the glasses.

First, garnish the rim of a glass with crushed peppermint stick. Next, add large ice cubes to the glass to prevent quick melting. Fill the glass partway with half and half (or the milk of your choice) and a splash of vanilla extract. Gently pour chilled, decaf brewed coffee over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect.
