Our second Mom’s Night Out at Fourth & Field was a smaller group than the first, but we had just as much fun!
The smaller group meant that we all got to sit at one table and chat more as a group, which is honestly my favorite kind of mom’s night out. We chatted about work, the range of parenting stages among the group, and lots more.
I had grand plans for us to enjoy the evening out on the patio, but Mother Nature had other plans…shortly after we sat down at our table, the skies opened up and it POURED rain. We all watched out the picture windows as the storm rolled in, and luckily passed on before we were ready to leave.
We got to try the F&F take on several classic summer dishes, like the watermelon and goat cheese salad, which included tomatoes – a delicious addition that I may just start including at home too!
The cocktails were great, with a special blackberry spritz on the menu. A few of us saved room for dessert, and that 3 berry pie was worth every last calorie.
We’ve already got the wheels turning on our next event, so keep an eye out for more details soon!
About Fourth & Field
Set on hundreds of acres of endless land, and an excitingly active airfield, Fourth & Field welcomes guests with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Utilizing many of the local organic farm ingredients, this family-friendly establishment is home to authentic farm-to-plate comfort food. Let the menus transport you to a nostalgic place for a meal but bring you quickly back to Stow with flavors from quality locally-grown ingredients.
Our restaurant boasts a cozy indoor dining space that can accommodate up to 70 people. As well as a stunning outdoor patio that can also seat up to 75 guests. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the airfield and local organic farms, our outdoor space is perfect for small events, intimate gatherings, and enjoying a meal al fresco.
Fourth & Field is inspired by American farm-to-table comfort food. We source our products locally when possible – we are located near so many wonderful farms, how could we not?! In 2024, we will have EIGHT beautiful raised beds in front of F&F filled with our very own homegrown vegetables and herbs.
We are a family & friend owned operation. We strive to give our customers a feeling like they are sitting at our dinner table every single time they walk through our doors.
The meaning of Fourth and Field is simple and heartfelt. The “Fourth” stands for Melissa Simon’s (Partner and Operating Manager) “fourth” baby (she has 3 small children at home) and “Field” reflects both the airfield and our farm/field foods!
You will find Melissa, her husband Brian, and their partners Tom and Maria, at Fourth & Field almost daily – it is their second home!
