We had a blast at our Sip & Shop and Candle Making Workshop at Flock & Flourish!
What a night we had together shopping, chatting, and gathering gifts for our families including these adorable little animal trinkets for stocking stuffers for the kids. It was a great night where we got to know each other better in a low-key, low-pressure environment. Some came with friends, but most came solo. Laughter filled the store as we snacked and sipped our drinks browsing through all the local vendors at this gorgeous shop.
Then the time came for one of their vendors, Laura Valezquez of Piper & Harlow, to teach us all how to make our own candles with our own perfect scent. We put on our pink aprons and listened to Laura’s story about how her family business came about. Then she showed us all the scents she had with her and explained step-by-step how to make our candles.
While we let our candles set, we went back to shopping and chatting. This event went by so quickly, but we all had so much fun!
