Who loves Legos? We certainly do in our house! Legos are a fun, interactive, and colorful learning experience for people of all ages. Imagination and creativity are used, whether it is building them, playing with Lego characters, or using sets.
I am confident to say that almost every kid that I know loves to play with Legos, even young children, with the Duplo blocks. My son really appreciates getting Lego sets, but they can be expensive, especially for larger or themed sets, or that rare character. We love to visit our local favorite Lego places known as “restores” where we can get Legos discounted, already assembled, or even create our own characters from assorted bins. At these stores, you can even buy, sell, or trade!
Here is a list of our favorite Lego places that are “restores” to get your Legos in and around Central Mass:
New England Brick Co. (Hudson, MA)
The New England Brick Co. store is nestled on the 4th floor in The Landing at Hudson Mills, 43 Broad St, in Hudson, MA. At this store, you can buy, sell, or trade Legos. We like looking around at the different themed sections throughout the store, from superheroes, Mario, Star Wars, and cars. They even have retired Lego sets, as well as a table of loose pieces called “Pick-a-brick” where you fill a container for just $5 (small), $9 (medium), or $17 (large).
Boston Brick Co. (S. Weymouth, MA)
Boston Brick Co. is a cute store at 1690 Main St, in S. Weymouth. You can buy, sell, or trade unique sets. You can check out a window display as you enter.
Bottomless Bricks (Pittsfield, MA)
Bottomless Bricks is located at 163 South Street, Ste 4 in Pittsfield, MA. Erin, Owner of Bottomless Bricks, was on Lego Masters! You can visit her shop for your favorite sets, characters, or a special event, which varies every month!
Worcester Brickworks (Grafton, MA)
Worcester Brickworks is at 34 N. Main Street, in Grafton, MA. It just opened in Oct 2024. This small shop has a building area, pick-a-brick that includes common and rare pieces, and also has a collection of vintage sets. An exciting opportunity that is coming soon is birthday parties as well as weekly and monthly events.
Providence Brick Exchange (Smithfield, RI)
Providence Brick Exchange is at 9 Cedar Swamp Rd, Ste B, in Smithfield, RI. When you visit this store, make sure you have some extra time! This store is really cool, with the whole Lego “village” that you can admire, anything from Star Wars, superheroes, farms, and of course lots of buildings and cars. Aside from the Lego “village” they also have hundreds of various Lego figures. There are cases of assembled sets, as well as shelves of discounted box sets. You can also have a party there!
Lego Stores (Across New England)
Lego Stores are not “restores,” but they are still fun places to suit your Lego needs. And since they are usually in shopping plazas or malls, you can shop at your other favorite places, too.
Some locations are:
- Natick, MA
- Burlington, MA
- Braintree, MA

If you are up for a family adventure, you can visit The Lego Discovery Center Store in Somerville or Legoland in Goshen, NY!
Lego Discovery Center Store (Somerville, MA)
The Lego Discovery Center Store lies in the heart of Assembly Row, in Somerville, MA. Though this is not a “restore” this place is insane! This Discovery Center offers a Pick & Build Wall, Duplo Play Table, Demonstration Table, rides, Character Meet & Greet, and the list goes on. If you are the type of person who asks for “experience/memory” gifts from family and friends, this is definitely one to add to the list. Ticket prices vary from $21.99 to $34.99 depending on the package that you want.
Legoland (Goshen, NY)
Legoland is at 1 Legoland Blvd in Goshen, NY.
