The group last Wednesday evening was on the smaller side, but often those end up being my favorite events. With the smaller crowd, we all sat together and chatted as one group. We laughed, exchanged stories and advice, talked about our kids, our careers, and everything in between. By the end of the night, we were all exchanging contact info and saying how much we looked forward to seeing each other again. Although nobody challenged me to a game of battleship, I’d say the night was a winner.
The Thirsty Robot was the perfect spot for a summer evening gathering. We all ordered food and drinks and then decided to sit outside on the patio. The patio was nicely shaded and sits on the back of the building set back from the road, so it’s a quiet little oasis. Add a little breeze and it doesn’t get much better.
Several of us tried the sour beers, which were a personal favorite of mine – one a traditional sour and a second that was much more fruity – both tasty in their own right. Although we didn’t break into them for this event, there was an impressive selection of games available for customers to play while they enjoy their food and drink.
I can’t wait to go back!

About the Thirsty Robot Brewing Company
We are a ragtag collection of misfits who find solace in working hard to produce beer that you will enjoy. Our brewery and taproom is located at 265 Summer Street in Fitchburg, MA. Our focus is on aroma-packed and flavor-driven beers, with an emphasis on New England IPAs. We will also offer barrel-aged sours and special releases while paying homage to traditional styles. We brew a variety of one-off batches that allow us to pursue our various whims. We won’t shy away from the funk or twists on traditional styles while highlighting unique ingredients.
