If you’re wondering how you’re going to fill your time during February school vacation week, we’ve got you covered! Here is a list of kid-friendly activities and events to do all week long! Make sure to check individual websites for event details, updates, and sign-ups!

February School Vacation at Broad Meadow Brook, Worcester *registration and fee required.

February School Vacation Days at Wachusett Meadow, Princeton *registration and fee required.

Vacation Week Camp (Eco Explore) at the Ecotarium, Worcester *registration and additional fee required.

Discovery Museum: Trasheology at 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm *included in the price of admission.

February Vacation Week: Fairytale Forest at the New England Botanical Garden, Boylston (2/14/-2/20) 10am-4pm *some activities included in the price of admission, others require registration and an additional fee.

Open Play at Let’s Bee Kids, Hudson from Monday to Saturday.

Zoo Camp The Zoo in Forest Park, Springfield *registration and fee required.

Open play at We Rock the Spectrum Westford *open play hours vary, check the website for more details.

February School Vacation Week: Discovery Adventures at Old Sturbridge Village from 9am-3pm *additional fee and registration required.

February Vacation Camp R/C Excitement in Fitchburg from 10am-3pm. Build your own RC Car! *registration and fee required.

February Vacation Naturalists: Animals in Winter at Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary *registration and fee required.

Open play at Mini City Worcester 292 W Boylston St, Worcester from 10am-2pm (M, W, Thurs), 10am-1pm (Fri). $10 1-5 year olds, $5 for 6mo-1 year.

Youth Archery Clinic 203 Bedford St, Lakeville, from 10am-12pm February 16th-19th. *Registration and fee required.

The Little Barn Indoor Playhouse 29 Brookfield Rd, Sturbridge, Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm. Crawlers to 1 year old $10/child, 1 year old/walking and up $18/child (both include 1 adult). Reservations are recommended but not required. 

Monday, February 16th

10:00AM-11:00AM Paint your own cookies! Ohoodles of Doodles Art Studio 630 Main St Fiskdale. Whoopie Doo & Cupcakes, Too is popping up at Ohoodles of Doodles to kick start your February break! Join for a morning filled with fun sweets and turning cookies into masterpieces. 4 cookies per artist, cookie themed art kit to take home, open art and snacks & juice Ages 2–7ish (all ages welcome). Registration required $30/child, $10 deposit to reserve.

10:00AM-4:00PM Lunar New Year Celebration at the Worcester Art Museum. Join them for a full day of art, music, and dance, with rousing performances and activities for all ages. Museum admission is free all day.

10:00AM & 12:30PM Play Date 300 Main St, Southbridge. Two 1.5hr time slots. Indoor sand box, indoor mud kitchen, and sensory tables. Reservations required $18/child.

1:00PM Make a Wooden Birdfeeder at Klems Spencer.*Registration is required.

Tuesday, February 17th

9:30AM-10:30AM Lunar New Year Celebration Bear’s Play Space 31 Harvard St., Worcester. Join us for a time of music and a special Lunar New Year craft; play is also included. This class is best for ages 0-5, price is $15 per child. *Registration is required. 

10:00am-11:00am. Mardi Gras Carnival Ohoodles of Doodles Art Studio 630 Main St, Fiskdale. We’re bringing the colors, the sparkle, and the carnival fun straight to the studio. Bright purples, greens & golds, process art with beads, feathers & glittery fun. Mask making & carnival-inspired creations. Ages 2–7ish (all ages welcome). Each session wraps up with a snack and story time. *Registration required $20/child.

10:00AM Make a Wooden Birdfeeder at Klems Spencer. *Registration is required. 

1:00PM Kids Karate Class at Klems in Spencer.

2:30PM-4:00PM Bluey Party! at Worcester Public Library. Drop in to celebrate all things Bluey with fun themed crafts, snacks, and activities. We will have a balloon artist to make your very own Bluey art! Feel free to wear your Bluey gear.

6:00PM-7:00PM Glow Party! at the Shrewsbury Public Library. Come to our after-dark party when we light up the night with neon and glowsticks! Enjoy games and activities with a neon twist. Best for ages 4-11, all ages welcome.

Wednesday, February 18th

8:30AM-11:00AM Sensory and Open Play at Bear’s Play Space, 31 Harvard St, Worcester. We will have our sensory bins and our sensory light table out during this time in the open gross motor room. Our Play Space will also be available to utilize during this time. This class is best for ages 0-5, price is $20 per child.*Registration is required. 

10:00AM-11:00AM Clay & Create Ohoodles of Doodles Art Studio 630 Main St, Fiskdale Get ready for a hands-on, imagination-fueling clay experience where little artists become tiny sculptors! Self-guided character cards with step-by-step inspiration, fine motor fun, creativity, and open-ended play. They will be using gluten-free-friendly clay for ages 2–7ish (but all ages welcome). Each session wraps up with a snack and story time. Registration required $20/child.

10:00AM & 12:30PM Play Date 300 Main St, Southbridge. Two 1.5hr time slots. Indoor sand box, indoor mud kitchen, and sensory tables. *Reservations required $18/child.

10:00AM & 1:00PM Kid’s Dance Party & Karaoke at Klems in Spencer.

11:00AM-12:00PM Meet the Princesses-Royal Readalong at the Worcester Public Library. Join Princess Jasmine and Mirabel for a magical story time filled with stories, songs, and fun!

Thursday, February 19th

9:30AM-11:30am Drive-in Movie Paw Patrol at the Shrewsbury Public Library. We’re making our own drive-in movie! They’ll provide big boxes and art supplies for you to make your own “car,” then you’ll relax and enjoy snacks while you watch Paw Patrol: the Mighty Movie! Best for ages 3-7, all ages welcome. *Registration is requested. 

10:00-11:00am Winter Canvas Ohoodles of Doodles Art Studio 630 Main St, Fiskdale. Little artists will paint their own wintery masterpiece filled with snowy skies, sparkling details, and plenty of imagination. Canvas painting fun, winter wonderland vibes, and shimmery, magical touches. Ages 2–7ish (all ages welcome). Each session wraps up with a snack and story time. Registration required $20/child.

10:00AM & 1:00PM Magic Show with Klems in Spencer.

11:00AM-12:00PM Cupcake Decorating at 308 Lakeside Restaurant in East Brookfield. *Registration and fee required.

Friday, February 20th

8:30AM-11:30PM Open Play and Sensory Bottle Making Bear’s Play Space, 31 Harvard St, Worcester. This class is best for children ages 0-5; the price is $20 per child. *Registration is required. 

10:00AM & 12:30PM Play Date 300 Main St, Southbridge. Two 1.5hr time slots. Indoor sand box, indoor mud kitchen, and sensory tables. Reservations required $18/child.

10:00AM & 1:00PM Reptile Shows of New England at Klems in Spencer.

10:30AM-12:30PM Cocoa and Canvas at Shrewsbury Public Library. Children in grades 1–5 and a favorite grown-up will each create their own mini masterpiece while sipping on hot chocolate and enjoying light snacks. *Registration is required. 

Saturday, February 21st

8:30AM-10:00AM  Music and Movement Open Play Bear’s Play Space 31 Harvard St Worcester. This class is best for ages 0-5, price is $15 per child. *Registration required.

11:00AM-12:30PM Princess Tea Party Gladys E. Kelly Public Library 2 Lake St, Webster. Join them for a charming Princess Tea Party filled with delightful treats and tons of fun! Come meet Mirabel and Belle as they share a story, sing some songs, and enjoy a cup of ‘tea’ and some treats with you. Everyone who attends will have the chance to meet both princesses and take a picture with them. *Registration is required.
