Song’s Keys Music Studio carefully fosters the development of children with research-based methods to build a solid foundation for a lifetime of music. Early childhood music and movement classes (ages 0-4) immerse children in a rich environment during their most critical periods of development and provide caregivers with ideas on how to be their child’s musical play partner. Engaging content includes songs in a diversity of tonalities and meters, chants, expressive movement, and the building of rhythmic and tonal vocabularies. Piano instruction is updated with a Music Learning Theory approach and allows children to begin or continue their piano journey the way they naturally learn music: to hear and play with understanding. Small group piano classes (ages 4 and up) provide the most essential skills and content through imaginative, active, and purposefully sequence activities that encourage children’s innate creativity while maximizing their musical potential.

At Touchstone, education is made real and purposeful. Whether just starting out (age 2.9), or finishing up middle school, our students are engaged and passionate, pursuing investigations, asking relevant and meaningful questions, and reflecting on their work. Children feel known, at home, and safe to take risks and make mistakes. The academics are purposeful and inventive, ensuring that each Touchstone student leaves with a robust set of 21st-century skills. They are leaders who value listening and collaboration, problem solvers who embrace critical thinking and experimentation, and thoughtful global citizens. We encourage families to visit and see what makes a Touchstone education truly exceptional.
