Date Night in Hudson

0

I am always on the search for our next great adventure, big or small. I have become particularly focused on finding great date night spots – thanks in large part to finally having a wonderful babysitter. I live in Shrewsbury, so we often go either to Boston or Worcester for our date nights. Recently, we have been spending more time in Hudson, and I must say – I am obsessed! Here are our new go-to spots for the perfect date night in Hudson.

First Stop: Medusa Brewing Company

If you are into beer, this spot has you covered. With a ton of great options on draft, there is a beer for every taste at Medusa Brewing Company. As someone who is not a beer expert, I appreciate the layout of the menu by style. Whether you like light, sour, hoppy, or malty, they’ve got you covered. If you’re gluten-free – the seltzer is really good, and they have non-alcoholic options. You can choose the size you’d like or try a flight. While this is just our first stop on our date night adventure, you can grab some delicious food at their in-house taqueria, Taco Gato, while you’re there.

Second Stop: Less Than Greater Than

I lived in New York City for nearly ten years, so I have spent quite a bit of time in exceptional speakeasy bars. I had no idea that one existed so close to my house until my best friend (who lives in Queens, NY!) came to visit and booked us a reservation here. Hidden behind a cobbler shop, Less Than Greater Than, has all the speakeasy vibes you are looking for, along with top-notch cocktails. I have tasted quite a few of them at this point, and my absolute favorite is the Vieux Carré. They have solid food options as well, but I’m all about the drinks at our second stop for our date night!

Third Stop: Rail Trail

At this point, you’re likely very ready for dinner. Head directly across the street to Rail Trail Flatbread Co. There are tons of options, featuring salads, bowls, burgers, and of course flatbreads. What I appreciate most is the amount of allergy-friendly options available. They have gluten-free options, as well as vegan cheese, and I’m sure they can accommodate most requests, thanks to the kind and helpful staff. My go-to is the “Farmer’s Market Flatbread” with vegan cheese. This spot will leave you feeling full and satisfied after your awesome date night!
