Date Night at West End Creamery Recap!

Date Night at West End Creamery is in the books!

West End Creamery’s barn was the perfect place to set up a whole bunch of fun games on a rainy Saturday night. A mix of couples and friends came out to enjoy a night of friendly competition. We played cornhole, ladder ball, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, Guess Who, Topple, Suspend, and a few others. The crowd favorites were definitely cornhole and giant Jenga.

Everyone got to enjoy a yummy pizza buffet while we played and mingled, and then we headed over to the West End Creamery ice cream stand where everyone got to order their favorite frozen treat.

We wrapped up the night with a few final rounds of cornhole before it was time for everyone to head home to relieve the babysitters.

Thanks to West End Creamery for having us! We can’t wait to come back and check out all the fun activities at the Fall Festival!

About West End Creamery!

Shortly after the turn of the century, our family began farming this land on the “west end” of town. What started out as a flock of chickens soon turned into a dairy farm called West End Dairy. Our herd of Holstein cows provided fresh milk and cream and was peddled door to door here in the Blackstone Valley until 1968 and then we switched to a wholesale milk market for the next 20 years.

Fast forward to 1999 and the 4th generation, Greg VandenAkker and his wife Becky, began West End Creamery with a goal to preserve our family farm and to share our heritage. Today, we still work the land growing hay, pumpkins and feed corn and the fun of agritourism, bringing people like you to our farm, so you can enjoy our land along with us!
