Here are some of the Christmas Tree Farms located in and around Central Mass:
Arrowhead Acres (Uxbridge): They have approximately 35,000 growing trees. They start selling on the Friday after Thanksgiving and every weekend until Christmas or until sold out. They offer both cut-your-own and pre-cut trees.
Bears Christmas Tree Farm (Blackstone): Family-owned and operated Christmas tree farm in Blackstone. Typically, it opens the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Clara Belle Farm (Shrewsbury): Pre-cut trees that sell out quite quickly after they open after Thanksgiving.
Davagian Tree Farm (Sutton): A dog-friendly farm with cut-your-own or pre-cut trees, plus a Christmas Shed with decorated wreaths and other decorations.
Deer Run Tree Farm (Princeton): A destination for those looking for a traditional cut-your-own experience. In the past, they have had wagon rides and cider to enjoy. They also allow friendly dogs on a leash.
D.J. Hussey Farm (Townsend): Enjoy a walk on the scenic trail to pick your own tree ranging from 0-13 feet. Customers will not be permitted to cut their own tree during the season; instead, they have helpers in the field who quickly tag and chop down the trees. Pre-tagging is starting the first weekend in October for the 2025 Season. No Appointment needed for tagging.
Evergreen Farm (Sterling): A 3rd-generation tree farm that offers a selection of cut-your-own and pre-cut Christmas trees. They also have wreaths, swags, and holiday home decor. Check the website for availability because their farm has taken a hit with the loss of trees over the last five years.
The Farmer’s Daughter (Auburn): They will have three varieties of Christmas trees this year: Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir, and White Pine. They also offer beautiful Balsam wreaths, ranging from 18 inches to 6 feet in diameter, as well as Garland, Kissing Balls, Swags, Cemetery Baskets, and Holiday containers. Santa will also be visiting (check their website for updated dates and times). Starting November 30th their hours are daily 9am-6pm, Christmas Eve 9am-1pm, and closing for the season on Christmas Day.
Highfields Christmas Tree Farm (Grafton): A popular spot with cut-your-own trees and a reputation for quality. They supply saws, tarps, and tying twine, and they will shake and bale your tree for free. They open on November 28th, 2025.
Houde’s Tree Farm (Marlborough): They have both pre-cut and cut-your-own trees as well as plain and decorated wreaths.
Jim’s Christmas Trees (Charlton): 40+ years of bringing Christmas magic to the Charlton area. They offer pre-cut trees as well as wreaths of a vast array of sizes and shapes, all handcrafted.
Luks Tree Farm (Auburn): A family-owned, cut-your-own farm spanning 15 acres. They also have a Christmas Shed with wreaths and local products.
Mason Farm (Rutland): Known for its Christmas trees and maple syrup, it offers a quintessential New England experience.
Mistletoe Christmas Tree Farm (Stow): A classic family-run farm with cut-your-own and pre-cut trees, a fire pit, and sometimes special visits from Santa. Check the website for the 2025 days, but note that opening day is November 22nd, with Santa scheduled to be there on November 23rd.
Sleighbell Tree Farm (Sutton): A family-owned farm offering cut-your-own trees for over 29 years. They have a wide selection of live Christmas Trees and a Gift Barn for browsing ornaments and decorations. They open the Friday after Thanksgiving at 9 AM.
Taproot Tree Farm (Stow): A smaller, local farm located in a quiet, natural setting. Opening weekend is November 22nd and 23rd, 2025.
Texas Tree Farm (Charlton): Offers cut-your-own and pre-cut trees, as well as wreaths and other greenery.
Vandervalk Farm & Winery (Mendon): Here you can pick out your freshly cut tree, or cut your own, and then warm up in the barn. Opening day is November 28th, 2025.
