Katie spent her childhood and early adulthood in the Boston area and now resides in Central Mass with her husband, daughter (2022), and rescue dog. As a high school educator, she is deeply passionate about working with young people and draws much of her energy and creativity from her students. Katie is also the founding leader of the Central Mass chapter of ICAN, a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by reducing preventable cesareans. Katie enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her extended family and friends.
