Homemade Baby Puffs

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Pureed Baby Food
  • 1 cup Oat or Barley-based Baby Cereal
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Flaxseed
  • 1 tsp Yogurt
  • Optional Seasoning
  • Optional Peanut Butter Powder
  • Breast Milk, Milk, or Bone Broth as needed

  • Wood Spoon
  • Dinner Spoons
  • Measuring Cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine pureed baby food, cereal, egg, baking powder, flaxseed and yogurt.
  3. Texture should be equal to a thin cookie dough. Add in optional liquids as needed. More cereal can be added to thicken the mixture as well.
  4. Add in optional seasoning or spices. (My little lady loves cinnamon in her squash or pumpkin puffs.)
  5. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Scoop the mixture onto a wooden spatula.
  7. Scrape bite-sized portions onto the baking sheet with a metal spoon.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  9. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and bake for an additional 15-25 minutes.
  10. Allow bites to cool.
  11. Store in a sealed container for up to 7 days.
