DESCRIPTION:Karen is your host and has created this event for all of us who seldom set aside time to work on our art. At Dragonflies and Amber you’ll not only have a space that is dedicated to creation for 3 hrs (but stay as long as you’d like)\, it is also free of distraction\, and spiritually charged. We are creating a place of support for each other. \nMany art forms are welcome (oil painting\, acrylic painting\, watercolor painting\, sketching of all kinds\, knitting\, crocheting\, beading\, sewing\, weaving\, spinning\, etc). If you do something else and want to inquire if it can be done here please ask in the comments and Karen will get back to you. \nYou will need to bring your own equipment including easels either standing of desktop (we have chairs and tables)\, as well as clean up after yourselves. By centering these stories alongside leading experts\, the film exposes a systemic blind spot and makes a powerful case for why early awareness can transform women’s health\, careers\, and sense of self.\nAfter the film\, there will be a discussion and Q&A led by Kelly Tull\, a women’s health nurse practitioner and certified sex counselor.\nRegistration is required. \nThis screening is independently hosted in partnership with The (M) Factor.\nThe film is produced by Women in the Room Productions and Take Flight Productions.\nSponsored by the Friends of the Joshua Hyde Public Library.
